PLN 35 thousand for breaking a leg on a slippery surface

The story

In December 2013, Ms. Renata W., while walking near her home in Przemyśl, lost her balance on a slippery pavement surface and broke her femur as a result of the fall.

The fracture turned out to be a problematic, dislocated injury, requiring prolonged immobilization and taking necessary pharmaceuticals to relieve pain.

Ms. Renata was deprived of work during the period of immobilization of her leg and then rehabilitation and incurred the costs of treatment and purchase of pharmaceuticals.

Insurer’s proposal

After analyzing Renata’s case, the Insurance Company proposed a payment of PLN 10000, but this amount was not satisfactory for our client.

Settlement received

The advisers and lawyers of our law firm thoroughly analyzed Ms. Renata’s case, collected the necessary documentation and prepared the appropriate action strategy, which ultimately resulted in the settlement of PLN 35000 for breaking the leg in a daily situation on a slippery pavement.
